Swimming Carnivals

General Meet Information

Full details of our Club Nights, City Pool, Inter-Club, Regional, State and National Meets are updated, as they become available, on our Happening Calendar. However, unless the Club has received a special invitation for us to do so, it does not include Meets that are in other regions and that our swimmers may be eligible to compete in.

A full list of all Meets held in Queensland is available on the Swimming Queensland Happening Calendar.

Please take note of the Meet closing dates as late nominations will not be accepted.

Meet Nomination Forms must be fully completed and checked and signed by John, Nathan or Amy prior to placing them in the Club mailbox.

At State and National level, individual swimmers may be required to nominate using the EventsOnline nomination portal. Instructions on how to use EventsOnline are available here.

A copy of the current Meet Flyers are held next to the Club mailbox at the pool reception and Meet Nomination Forms are also available from that area. Please ensure the correct money is included with nominations to avoid unnecessary delays in processing. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer EFTPOS facilities, so please make payment by cash or cheque.

Our Recreational level swimmers are able to compete at Club and City Pool Meets only. Competitive level swimmers are able to compete at all Meets, therefore any Recreational level member wishing to compete at all Meets would be required to upgrade their membership. Qualifying Times also apply to some Meets and Events at this level.

Parents are required to assist with timekeeping at meets and where possible a roster will be prepared beforehand, otherwise on the day of the meet. Failure to assist the club in this matter, may result in your child not being able to compete.

Each year, The Nerang Swimming Club holds its annual Short Course Qualifying Meet. It is well respected within the region and is usually well supported. As such, we require every parent to get involved and make our carnival a success. It is the Club's largest fund-raising event of the year and we greatly appreciate everyone's support.
