Club Championships and Records

General Information

The 2011/2012 Club Championships will be held on Tuesday 24 April 2012 at 5:00pm. Our Awards Presentation and End of Season Break Up will be held on Saturday 5 May 2012.

Further details of Club Championships and the Presentation Day will be advised closer to the date.

All financial members are eligible to nominate for Club Championships.

Medals will be awarded in age groups 7yrs and under through to 17 and over for both boys and girls. Races will be swum as mixed timed finals. Age shall be as at the day of the Championships.

Trophies and medals will be awarded at Presentation night. Trophies will be presented to the:
Highest ranked junior boy: 12 yrs and under
Highest ranked junior girl: 12 yrs and under
Highest ranked senior boy: 13yrs and over
Highest ranked senior girl: 13yrs and over
Age Champions: Boy and Girl, 7 and under through to 17 and over

Prizes will also be given to the swimmer who has achieved the most individual Personal Best Times in each of the 5 disciplines; ie, Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly & Medley irrespective of distance.

Other prizes that may be awarded are: The longest standing record to be broken. The most Club records broken.

Age Champions

To be eligible for Age Champion, Swimmers must complete a minimum of (2) events per club night for (9) of the (12) club nights.

Swimmers must be financial members.

Swimmers must compete in all 5 disciplines at club championships. Swimmers aged 7yrs and Under are excluded from this final point.

Parents of nominating swimmers must have assisted at (4) Club Nights. Parents sign on sheets can be found at the BBQ table along with sign in attendance sheets.
