The Nerang Swimming Club is run by a committe of volunteers and was formed in 1978 to cater for social and competitive swimmers from five years upwards.
We may not be the largest club on the Gold Coast but we take pride in being a friendly family club.
This club has grown substantially over the years and we are proud to have State, National and World Championship swimmers with us.
Our club nights are held fortnightly on Tuesday nights from September through to March with a short break over Christmas. We also run monthly club nights during winter with swimmers from other clubs participating.
Our club nights provide a great opportunity for swimmers to put into practice their stroke and racing skills in a relaxed and safe environment. It is also a great opportunity for families and parents to meet. We also provide a BBQ and refreshments, which may be purchased.
The highlight of our swimming season is the Annual Nerang Qualifying Meet which attracts competitors from other clubs in the Gold Coast region and throughout South East Queensland.
Our Club Championships are held at the end of the season where our swimmers compete for medals and age champion trophies.
Club membership details are available from our club registrar - how to join.
